1992 verließ Matt Dike das Label und Michael Ross führte Delicious Vinyl mit Akribie weiter.
Die Veröffentlichungen von The Pharcyde, De La Soul, J-Swift und Masta Ace machten Delicious Vinyl in den folgenden Jahren zu einem der Aushängeschilder des »conscious rap« und dem Sound der »Goldenen Ära des Hip Hop«.
