Seit mehr als 50 Jahren werden in Mainz hauptberufliche Kirchenmusiker und Kirchenmusikerinnen ausgebildet.
Von 1961 bis 1967 war Dr. Rudolf Walter Leiter der Abteilung für Katholische Kirchenmusik.

Prof. Dr. med. Eckhart G. Hahn ist seit 8/2011 Gründungsdekan und seit 8/2012 hauptberuflicher Dekan der European Medical School Oldenburg-Groningen. 2009-2011 war er Dekan der Fakultät für Gesundheit der Universität Witten/Herdecke.
Er war Vorsitzender der Gesellschaft für Medizinische Ausbildung (GMA) und Schriftleiter der GMS Zeitschrift für Medizinische Ausbildung von 2003 bis 2011.

Prof. Dr. med. Eckhart G. Hahn co- founded the European Medical School Oldenburg-Groningen in 2011 and since August 2012 is its full-time dean. From 2009 to 2011 he was Dean of the Health Faculty of the University Witten/Herdecke.
He was head of the Society for Medical Education (GMA) and chief editor of the GMS Zeitschrift für Medizinische Ausbildung [Journal of Medical Education] from 2003 to 2011.
www.europa-uni.deMartin Luther und der mit ihm befreundete ? Urkantor ? unserer Kirche, Johann Walter in Torgau, waren die Initiatoren einer bis heute lebendigen kirchenmusikalischen Tradition in Sachsen.
Um diese Tradition in unserer Zeit mit Leben zu erfüllen, sind gegenwärtig 155 hauptberufliche (? A? und? B? - Kirchenmusiker ) und 286 nebenberufliche C-Kantorinnen und Kantoren in der sächsischen Landeskirche tätig.
Dazu kommen 376 ausgebildete Hilfskräfte ( C ) und 594 Mitarbeiter ohne Prüfung, die oft ehrenamtlich in den Kirchgemeinden mitarbeiten.

In order to fill this tradition with life in this day and age, 155 full-time (? A? and? B? - church musicians ) and 286 part-time C-Cantors work in the Saxon regional church at present.
Moreover, there are 376 skilled assistants ( C ) and 594 members of staff without an exam who often work in an honorary capacity in the parishes.

1973 wird zum ersten Mal ein hauptberuflicher Bibliothekar bestellt.
1977 Im Zuge des Neubaus der Hochschule erfolgt die Unterbringung der Bibliothek am Haus Mirabellplatz 1. 1981 Mit der Gründung der "Abteilung Musikerziehung in Innsbruck" entsteht eine Außenstelle auf der Basis einer bereits bestehenden Bibliothek.

Ihre hauptberuflichen Wissenschaftler, die in 22 Instituten tätig sind, decken das gesamte Spektrum der Wirtschaftswissenschaft ab, was die Spezialisierungsmöglichkeiten verbessert und bei kleineren Wettbewerbern durchaus nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Andererseits gehört die Fakultät nicht zu den ausgesprochenen Massenfakultäten und bietet daher gute Chancen zum persönlichen Kennenlernen von Lehrenden und Lernenden.

our full-time academics, who work in 22 institutes, cover the entire spectrum of Economics and Management, which therefore improves opportunities for specialisation and which is not a matter of course with smaller competitors.
On the other hand, the School is not one of the large schools and therefore provides good opportunities for teaching staff and students to get to know each other personally.
