Für die Region Campinas wurde der Versiegelungsgrad der Siedlungsflächen pixelbasiert mithilfe der Software-Anwendung Impervious Surface Analyst der Universität Würzburg [1] berechnet.
Durch Kombination mit regionalen Niederschlagskarten konnte zum einen der potenzielle Ertrag, die räumlich verteilte jährlich verfügbare Regenwassermenge, abgeschätzt werden.
