Das Deutsche HörZentrum Hannover berät seine Patienten über die komplette Bandbreite aktueller Hörsysteme : konventionelle Hörgeräte, Mittelohrimplantate, Cochlea-Implantate oder Tinnitus Noiser.
Hörsysteme wie das ABI ( auditory brainstem implant ) werden angeboten, und das in Hannover entwickelte AMI ( auditory midbrain implant ) für so genannte NF2-Patienten ( Neurofibromatose Typ 2 ) wurde in der HNO-Klinik der MHH weltweit erstmals implantiert.
International bekannt ist die HNO-Klinik und das DHZ für das weltweit größte Cochlea-Implantat-Programm.
