In den 1980er-Jahren gehörte er der österreichischen Künstlergruppe der „ Neuen Wilden “ an, deren großformatige Bilder sich durch eine individuell gestische und trotzig-abstrakte Malweise in überschwänglicher Farbigkeit auszeichnen.
Die Ausstellung Plants & Murders wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstler realisiert und gibt einen eindrucksvollen Einblick in sein bildnerisches Schaffen der letzten Jahre in Form von Gemälden, Papierarbeiten und Plastiken.
