Dies hat eine von German Films berufene, unabhängige Fachjury am 27. August in München entschieden.
Die neunköpfige Jury unter Vorsitz von Peter Herrmann begründete ihre Entscheidung folgendermaßen:
„DIE GELIEBTEN SCHWESTERN ist eine modern erzählte Ménage à Trois, die uns mit Leichtigkeit ins 18. Jahrhundert versetzt.

The nine-person jury, under the chairmanship of Peter Herrmann, substantiated its decision as follows:
“BELOVED SISTERS is a modernly told ménage-à-trois that takes us back to the 18th century with a certain lightness.
