Der Park selbst war kaum besucht und alles war super sauber.
Der Blick auf den Meander des Colorado am Overlook entschädigte uns in jedem Fall für den Umweg von 3-4 Stunden Autofahrt.

Nicht auslassen sollte man den Canyon Overlook Trail, für den man nur eine reichliche halbe Stunde benötigt und der die Mühe mit einer grandiosen Aussicht belohnt.
Von einer Wanderung zu den Emerald Pools würden wir eigentlich abraten, da gibt es interessantere Wege im Park.

We would not recommend a hike to the Emerald Pools because there are more interesting trails in the park.
