SAMVIQ („Subjective Assessment Methodology for VIdeo Quality“) beschreibt ein subjektives Testverfahren, das insbesondere zur Qualitätsuntersuchung von im Internet verwendeten Videoformaten entwickelt wurde, aber auch für Standard-TV-Formate eingesetzt werden kann.
Bereits existierende subjektive Testverfahren sind in der ITU-R BT.500 Recommendation standardisiert.
