Invention of Perlon From 1915 to 1922 Paul Schlack studied che- mistry at the Stuttgart College ofTechnology and then, till 1924, he was Assistant at the Institute of Chemistry.
In 1938 Schlack disco- vered in his experiments the polymerizability of caprolactam and from this he developed a polyamide fiber, later known as Perlon.
