• Another memorable feature of the building will be the wall reliefs that climb up the stairwell, comprising cast and sculpted plaster replicas of medicinal plants, roots and leaves by local artist Markus Schwander.
His art installation, entitled Von Augentrost, Echtem Lungenkraut und Wundklee ("Eyebright, Common Lungwort and Kidney Vetch"), was the winning entry in an artwork competition staged by Roche.It particularly appealed to the judges because of its close reference to pharmaceuticals and Kaiseraugst.
