He is president of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.
V. and works as an advisor for numerous art and cultural organizations, such as the review commission " Culture in Germany " of the German Bundestag (2003-2007) , the cultural committees of the German UNESCO commission and the Association of German Cities, and the Association of German Music Schools.
