Als Belehnungsbasis wird bei kommittierten Kreditfazilitäten häufig die sogenannte Borrowing Base als Berechnungs- und Kontrollinstrument eingesetzt.
Diese vom Kreditnehmer regelmässig aufdatierte Übersicht gilt als Grundlage für die Belehnungsgrenze der Kreditfazilität und beinhaltet einen erneuerbaren Pool von kurzfristigen Sicherheiten wie Debitoren und liquiden Rohstofflagern.

In the case of committed credit facilities, the so-called borrowing base is often used as a calculation and monitoring instrument.
This overview, updated regularly by the borrower, is used as the basis for the lending limit of the credit facility and includes a renewable pool of short-term securities such as receivables and liquid commodity inventories.
