Auf Initiative der GIZ entstand im Jahr 2000 das Netzwerk INTEGRA, das deutsche Organisationen bündelt, die sich für die Überwindung von FGM engagieren.
Durch die Mitarbeit in der Donors Working Group on FGM/C unterstützen wir die Harmonisierung von Geberaktivitäten zur Überwindung von weiblicher Genitalverstümmelung auf internationaler Ebene.
Auch in den Partnerländern organisiert die GIZ Dialogveranstaltungen, um den Partnerorganisationen vor Ort ein Forum für den Erfahrungsaustausch zu geben.
