Der Besuch der Kontaktstelle war die letzte Station der Gruppe auf ihrer Studienreise nach Brüssel, bei der sie auch Elisabeth Köstinger, österreichische Abgeordnete im Europäischen Parlament, besuchte.
Zusammen mit dem Abgeordneten des Europäischen Parlaments Josef Weidenholzer kam die Gruppe in die Kontaktstelle und es fand ein reger Austausch zur Zukunft von LEADER im Rahmen der lokalen Entwicklung unter der Federführung der Bevölkerung ( Community-Led Local Development , CLLD ) und zu den Herausforderungen der Multifonds-Finanzierung statt .
Es wurden praktische Lösungen vorgeschlagen, z. B. die Harmonisierung der Datenbanken der NRNs und des ENRD, um den Austausch zu den EPLR-Projekten zu erleichtern, und Dauerthemen, wie die Entvölkerung, diskutiert.
