Im Projekt MIDEMMA (Minimizing Defects in Micromanufacturing Applications) werden Techniken entwickelt, um für verschiedene Mikrobearbeitungstechnologien (Mikrofräsen, Mikroerodieren, Mikrolaserablation, Mikrospritzguss) die Ausschussraten zu senken.
Das Laser Zentrum Hannover übernimmt dabei den Part der Technologieentwicklung für die lasergestützte Mikromaterialbearbeitung.
