Die aus dem 3. Jahrhundert stammende Mithrasgrotte enthält ein in die niedere Felswand gemeißeltes Halbrelief, das den Stier tötenden Sonnengott Mithras darstellt, rechts von ihm Phosphorus mit hoch erhobener, links Hesperus mit abwärts gewandter Fackel.

www.moerbischamsee.atThe Mithras grotto is located at the border to the Hungarian neighbour village Fertörákos and was discovered in 1866.
In the grotto from the 3rd century there is a semi-relief which depicts the sun god Mithras who is killing a bull, to the right side Phosphorus with an upraised torch and to the left Hesperus with one pointing downwards.
