Die Einrichtung des Allama Iqbal Professorial Fellowship geht auf das Jahr 1977 zurück, in dem der einhundertste Geburtstag des Dichters, Philosophen und Politikers Muhammad Iqbals ( 1877-1938 ) gefeiert wurde.

The introduction of the Allama Iqbal Professorial Fellowship can be traced back to 1977, when the 100 year anniversary of the poet-philosopher s birthday was celebrated.
