Die drei beispielhaft herausgehobenen Bauten dienen jeweils auf unterschiedliche Art als Versammlungsorte der Präsentation kultureller Produktion wie Handwerk und Musik oder gelten als Beispiel der Revitalisierung eines Industriekultur-Erbes ( Redevelopment of De Meelfabriek, Leiden ).
Darüber hinaus zeichnen sich zwei der Projekte durch ihre geografische Nähe zu Bregenz aus ( Werkraumhaus, Andelsbuch, und Neues Stadttor, Isny ).
