Boogie Blues
Seasick Steve stammt direkt aus der kollektiven Vorstellung von einem traditionellen und ländlichen Amerika und kommt genau so daher, wie man es aufgrund seiner Musik erwarten kann: einer Mischung aus Rock, Country, Boogie und Blues, selbst wenn er gern mal "Fuck Blues!" ausruft.

Like something coming straight out of the collective imagination of the American rural back of beyond, Seasick Steve has a look that sticks like glue to his music: a collage of rock, country, boogie and blues, even though he likes to exclaim:"Fuck the blues!"

Sieben Jahre nach seinem ersten Solo-Album "Dog House Music" gab Seasick Steve "Hubcap Music" heraus, dessen Name eine Anspielung ist auf seine Manie, seine Instrumente selber zu bauen.
