Stefan Quandt ist seit 1997 Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats der BMW AG sowie Mitglied des Kuratoriums der BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt .
Darüber hinaus hält er Aufsichtsratsposten in verschiedenen Firmen in Familienbesitz, darunter den Vorsitz des Aufsichtsrats von DELTON AG, Bad Homburg, und ist Vorstandsmitglied der Datacard Corporation, Minneapolis.
