Während seine Band bekannt ist für ihre Bossa Nova Cover von New Wave Hits, beschäftigt sich Olivier auf seinem dritten Solo-Album „Uncovered“ mit einem ganz anderen Thema.Es sind Songs vom dritten, vierten und fünften Studio Album der Queens Of The Stone Age, die hier neu interpretiert werden.
„Medication“ vom Album „Lullabies To Paralyze” ist mit seinem sanften Folk-Gewand exemplarisch für Libaux’ Herangehensweise.

While his band is famous for its bossa nova covers of new wave hits, Olivier chose to go another route for his third solo release “Uncovered”, which is dedicated solely to the music of Queens Of The Stone Age, covering the band’s third, fourth and fifth albums.
“Medication” is taken from “Lullabies To Paralyze”, and its tender, smooth folk sound is exemplary for Libaux’s take on QOTSA’s stoner rock.
