Der Auswanderungsdruck vor allem aus dem anatolischen Hinterland war so groß, dass nur etwa ein Viertel tatsächlich vermittelt werden konnte.

The pressure to emigrate, above all in the Anatolian hinterland, was so great that in fact only about a quarter of the applicants could be placed.
