Am 2. Mai 2014 billigte der EZB-Rat den zweiten Quartalsbericht an das Europäische Parlament, den Rat der EU und die Europäische Kommission über die Fortschritte bei der operativen Durchführung der SSM-Verordnung im Zeitraum vom 4. Februar bis 3. Mai 2014.

Second quarterly report on progress in the operational implementation of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) Regulation
On 2 May 2014 the Governing Council approved the second quarterly report to the European Parliament, the EU Council and the European Commission on progress in the operational implementation of the SSM Regulation, covering the period from 4 February to 3 May 2014.
www.nbb.beDie EZB beteiligt sich zudem bei der Beaufsichtigung von grenzüberschreitend tätigen Kreditinstituten und bei Finanzkonglemeraten.
Weiter bestimmt die geltende SSM-Verordnung, dass die EZB bei verschiedenen Verfahren (hierzu gehören das Zulassungsverfahren, das Verfahren zum Entzug der Zulassung und das Verfahren zur Beurteilung des Erwerbs qualifizierter Beteiligungen) die endgültige Entscheidung trifft.
Beim Zulassungsverfahren (oder Erwerb einer qualifizierten Mehrheit) wird der Antrag weiterhin zunächst vom Kreditinstitut (Erwerber) bei der jeweiligen NCA gestellt.
