Gemäß § 16 Verwaltungskostengesetz ( VwKostG ) kann eine Amtshandlung , die auf Antrag vorzunehmen ist , von der Zahlung eines angemessenen Vorschusses bis zur Höhe der voraussichtlich entstehenden Kosten abhängig gemacht werden .

Section 16 of the Administrative Cost Act ( Verwaltungskostengesetz ) provides that the performance of an official act on application may be made conditional on the payment of an appropriate advance up to the level of the estimated procedural cost.

Das BfArM beabsichtigt, ab dem 01.08.2010 in größerem Umfang als bisher bei Zulassungsverfahren von dieser Möglichkeit Gebrauch zu machen.
