Die Umstellung von fossilen auf regenerative Energieträger führt nicht nur zu einer Neuausrichtung des überkommenen Verhältnisses zwischen Raum und Energie , sondern auch zwischen Stadt und Land .
Dies und das daraus resultierende Konfliktpotenzial beleuchtet die Studie „Genügend Raum für den Ausbau Erneuerbarer Energien?“, die das Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung (BBSR) Mitte November 2010 vorgelegt hat.

The conversion from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources will lead not only to a realignment of the traditional relationship between space and energy, but also to that between town and country.
The study “Enough Room for the Expansion of Renewable Energies?”, which the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung / BBSR) presented in mid-November 2010, throws light on this and the resultant potential conflicts.
