Der Prototyp des automatischen Monitoring- und Kontroll-Systems wird im Frühjahr 2011 in Yangjiteng, einer Kleinstadt in der Nähe von Chengu in China, installiert.

Mit dem neuen Bewässerungsverfahren werden nicht nur Wasser und Geld gespart, sondern auch der Einsatz von konventionellen Düngemitteln durch das kontrollierte Aufbringen von Nährstoffen aus dem Abwasser verringert.
