Most of the shops in Haapsalu are located around Posti Street and the bus station and in the Old Town.
Big shopping centres and supermarkets (Emporium, Rimi, Maxima, Rannarootsi, Säästumarket, Uuemõisa Konsum and Bauhof) are open seven days a week until late in the evening.
Smaller shops are generally open until 6.00 or 7.00 pm Monday to Friday, until 3.00 or 4.00 pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.

In the southern part of the approx. 77,000 m² big property “Bauhof Leipzig-Radefeld” in the industrial estate “Zur Schafshöhe” in Schkeuditz-Hayna near the city of Leipzig a new office building of the company STRABAG is to be built.
The planned office building consists of three full storeys and partly has basement floors.

Das geplante Bürogebäude besteht aus drei Vollgeschossen und ist teilweise unterkellert.
