Cadastral surveying is a combined effort of the Confederation and the Cantons, for which the financing is shared between them.
The financial share of the Confederation is regulated in the FVAV ordinance ( Verordnung der Bundesversammlung über die Finanzierung der amtlichen Vermessung ).
