In a laboratory-scale wood gasification unit the optimal process parameters for the gasification of various combustibles can be measured.
This involves close collaboration between the Fraunhofer ICT Energetic Systems and Environmental Technology Departments and the European Institute for Energy Research (Eifer).

www.systec-services.comThe unit is already equipped with systems for the continuous measurement of the composition of the gases, and measurement of the tar content is carried out through precipitation and subsequent offline GCMS ( gas chromatograph mass spectroscopic ) analysis.
Additional tests are currently planned at the Fraunhofer ICT in collaboration with EIFER.

Weitere Untersuchungen sind aktuell am Fraunhofer ICT in Zusammenarbeit mit EIFER geplant.
