As the manufacturer Statex tells us, this fibre called “ Ex-Stat-Garn 22 / 1 dtex ” consists of single-strand silver-coated nylon.
There is also multistrand fibre available, but the single strand allows for easier adjusment when held by the microclip.

Wie uns der Hersteller “ Statex ” mitteilt, handelt es sich um bei diesem “ Ex-Stat-Garn 22 / 1 dtex ” um eine Nylonfaser ( Einzelfaser ), auf die Silber aufgebracht ist.
Das Garn gibt s auch als Litze ( Multifaser ), war in unseren Tests aber längst nicht so gut geeignet.
