In the old building itself an expected some excellent views of Loch Awe, buzzing around Mauerseeglern one meets here and there on Gewölle of birds of prey, which reveals itself through undigested quills, hair follicles and the resulting flashing bone remains of small mammals.
The best pictures can be prepared by the swinging door, removed shortly after the railway bridge, about 100m from the car park or take away from the jetty at the foot of the castle from.

Im alten Gemäuer selbst erwartet einen die tolle Aussicht auf den Loch Awe, umschwirrt von Mauerseeglern trifft man hier und da auf Gewölle von Greifvögeln, welches sich durch unverdaute Federkiele, Haarbälge und den daraus hervorblitzenden Knochenresten von Kleinsäugern zu erkennen gibt.
Die schönsten Bilder lassen sich nach der Schwingtüre, kurz nach der Eisenbahnbrücke ca. 100m vom Parkplatz entfernt oder vom Anlegesteg am Fuße des Castles aus aufnehmen.
