At OWI the effect of different reformate compositions on the efficiency of the fuel cell type NT-PEMFC, HT-PEMFC und SOFC are practically investigated in short- and long-term tests.
The results are used in order to optimise reforming processes and to design and test processing steps of the reformate, such as high-temperature-shift, low-temperature-shift, selective oxidation or methanation.

Am OWI wird die Auswirkung unterschiedlicher Reformatzusammensetzungen auf die Leistungsfähigkeit der Brennstoffzellentypen NT-PEMFC, HT-PEMFC und SOFC praktisch in Kurz- und Langzeitversuchen untersucht.
Diese Erkenntnisse werden eingesetzt, um das Reformierungsverfahren zu optimieren und Reformataufbereitungsstufen wie Hochtemperatur-Shift, Niedertemperatur-Shift, Selektive Oxidation oder Methanisierung auszulegen und zu erproben.
