The intended study is designed to be a longitudinal intervention study, within which the children ’s linguistic and metalinguistic abilities will be supported intensively starting in the second to last year of kindergarten.
In order to achieve this goal, Kon-Lab, a program for linguistic early intervention for children with migration background (Penner, 2003, 2005) and the Würzburg phonological awareness training program “Hören - Lauschen - Lernen” (Küspert & Schneider, 2003) will be combined in various ways.
