Modification of the participle
When we use the past participle as an adjective, it agrees in number and gender with the subject.
Example:

Wenn wir das Partizip Perfekt als Adjektiv verwenden, richtet es sich in Zahl und Geschlecht nach dem Subjekt.

The past participle is constructed with ado for ar-verbs and with ido for er/ir-verbs.
