Composite Fermions ( CF ) consist of electrons with two flux-quanta attached.
These novel particles allow a unified view of Quantum Hall-effect and fractional Quantum Hall-effect .
In our experiment we probe CF in modulated low dimensional electron systems around filling factor 1/2.
