Our research addresses fundamental properties of ultrashort plasmonic excitations on the relevant length- and time-scales.
We investigate aspects such as the propagation of SPP wave packets in plasmonic steering components [1], the SPP dispersion relation in plasmonic waveguides [2] and the interaction of elementary plasmonic excitations in model-type nano-optical devices [3].

In unserer Forschung interessieren wir uns für die fundamentalen Eigenschaften ultrakurzer plasmonischer Anregungen auf den dafür relevanten Längen- und Zeitskalen.
Wir untersuchen Phänomene, wie z.B. die Propagation von SPP Wellenpaketen in plasmon-optischen Bauteilen [1], die SPP Dispersionsrelation in plasmonischen Wellenleitern [2] und die Wechselwirkung elementare plasmonischer Anregungen in modellhaften nano-optischen Bauteilen [3].
