Einen Einblick in das Wirken vor Ort gaben GIZ-Programmleiter Jochen Salow und der Leiter des deutschen bilateralen Polizeiprojekts ( German Police Project Team – GPPT ) , Vizepräsident Wilhelm Schulz .
So unterstützt das GPPT die Aus- und Fortbildung der afghanischen Polizei und leistet Ausstattungshilfe.

GIZ programme manager Jochen Salow and the Head of the German Police Project Team ( GPPT ) , Vice President Wilhelm Schulz , gave some insights into work on the ground .
The GPPT is helping to train the Afghan police officers and providing equipment, while GIZ is focusing on building police training facilities in the north of the country and providing back-up for GPPT training activities in the form of literacy courses for future police officers, male and female.
