Da viele dieser Baugruppen noch in aktiver Verwendung und Weiterentwicklung sind bzw. auch als Ausgangsbasis für Neuentwicklungen dienen, mussten für die Einführung eines standardisierten Baukastens von Verbindungselementen alte Bauteile, die dem neuen Standard nicht entsprachen, in den CAD-Modellen der bestehenden Baugruppen ersetzt werden.
Liebherr entschied sich für eine automatisierte Lösung von V-Research.
