Bundespräsident Joachim Gauck wird am 15. September 2014 auf Einladung des Bundesministers für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung, Dr. Gerd Müller, in einer Rede auf die Bedeutung der Entwicklungspolitik eingehen.
Im Vordergrund wird der Prozess zur Weiterentwicklung der Entwicklungspolitik nach 2015 in und für Deutschland stehen.

On 15 September 2014, Federal President Joachim Gauck will be speaking on the importance of development policy, at the invitation of the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr Gerd Müller.
He will be looking in particular at the process of designing development policy beyond 2015 in and for Germany.

Seine berufliche Laufbahn in der Entwicklungspolitik begann Wilhelm 1979 im Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung ( BMZ ) als Referent für Entwicklungsvorhaben der Kirchen.
Von 1982 bis 1983 war Wilhelm stellvertretender Referatsleiter im Bundeskanzleramt, Abteilung Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik und damit einer der jungen Berater von Bundeskanzler Helmut Schmidt.

Jürgen Wilhelm ’ s career in development policy began in 1979 when he was a desk officer responsible for church development projects in Germany ’ s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development ( BMZ ).
Between 1982 and 1983, he was Deputy Head of Division in the Foreign and Security Policy Directorate at the Federal Chancellery and one of former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt ’ s team of young advisors.

Im Sinne einer kohärenten Entwicklungspolitik sind Aspekte der Decent Work Agenda in den einzelnen themenbezogenen Strategien enthalten (Europäische Kommission 2007).
Bezogen auf die berufliche Bildung bedeutet es zum Beispiel eine starke Orientierung an der Nachfrage des Arbeitsmarktes, die Förderung der Anerkennung informell erworbener Kompetenzen und den Rückgriff auf das Konzept des lebenslangen Lernens.
www.giz.deThere is a strategic partnership on cooperation between the two organisations, with the European Commission explicitly supporting implementation of the ILO ’s Decent Work Agenda in its cooperation with partner countries.
To produce a coherent development policy, aspects of the Decent Work Agenda are included in individual specific strategies (European Commission 2007).
In relation to vocational education and training, for example, this means a strong orientation to the requirements of the labour market, promotion of recognition of informally acquired skills, and emphasis on the concept of lifelong learning.
