Es konnten wesentliche Beiträge zur Phylogenie der Malacostraca ( Crustacea ) und Branchiopoda ( Crustacea ) sowie zur Stellung der Krebstiere innerhalb der Arthropoda geliefert werden.
Laufende Untersuchungen beschäftigen sich mit der Phylogenie der Peracarida, zu denen Asseln ( Isopoda ) und Flohkrebse ( Amphipoda ) gehören.

Our current research projects include investigations of the phylogenetic position of the Peracarida ( Crustacea ), the group containing e.g. woodlice ( Isopoda ) and sand hoppers ( Amphipoda ).
