Die PHW-Tochter Lohmann Animal Health arbeitet an der Entwicklung von Futterzusatzstoffen, die den bei der Geflügelaufzucht anfallenden Stickstoff- und Phosphorausstoß reduzieren.
Im Vergleich zur Fütterungspraxis vor einigen Jahren liegt heute bei WIESENHOF der Stickstoffanteil um etwa 20 Prozent und der Phosphoranteil um etwa 40 Prozent niedriger durch diese eingesetzten Aminosäuren und Enzyme.

The PHW subsidiary Lohmann Animal Health is working on developing feed supplements to reduce the nitrogen and phosphorus emissions produced in poultry breeding.
Compared to the feeding practices a few years ago, WIESENHOF’s nitrogen emissions have been reduced by 20 percent and the phosphorus proportion by around 40 percent through use of these amino acids and enzymes.
