Gerichtsstand Kantonale Gerichte sind nach dem Territorialitätsprinzip zuständig für diejenigen Fälle, die sich in ihrem Gerichtskreis ereignet haben.
Dies hat zur Folge, dass sich Angeklagte aus anderen Regionen u.U. vor anderssprachigen Gerichten verantworten müssen.

Place of jurisdiction In accordance with the principle of territoriality, the cantonal courts are responsible for those offences that have been committed within their geographical jurisdiction.
This means that accused persons from other regions must in some cases appear before courts where a different language from their own is spoken.
