AAC entwickelt Methoden und Algorithmen für Off- und Online-Entdeckung von Schäden, Quantifizierung und Restlebensdauer-Vorhersage für Composite-Strukturen basierend auf passiven und aktiven akustischen Methoden wie akustischer Emission und gesteuerten Ultraschallwellen zusammen mit lokaler Dehnung gemessen von verteilten faseroptischen Sensoren.
