I was considering academic work, although I never specifically aimed to become a Juniorprofessor.
Nevertheless, the thought of a career in academia was attractive to me even in secondary school.

Ich habe schon eine wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit in Erwägung gezogen, aber nie direkt angestrebt, Juniorprofessorin zu werden.
Aber mich hat es schon auf dem Gymnasium gereizt, in die Wissenschaft zu gehen.
