1958 hat Pius XII. derselben Kongregation die Aufgabe anvertraut, durch spezifische Obliegenheiten und Aktivitäten Sorge zu tragen für die spirituelle Betreuung der Gläubigen an Bord der Flugzeuge, wie auch der Passagiere, die dieses Transportmittel benutzen ; dieser Institution wurde der Name “ Opera dell ‘ “ Apostolatus Coeli “ o a „ Aëris “ gegeben.
Papst Paul VI. hingegen hat im Jahre l965, immer bei der Konsistorial- kongregation das “ Internationale Sekretariat für die Leitung der Opera dell ‘ Apostolatus Nomadum “ gegründet, um “ einer Bevölkerung ohne festen Wohnsitz geistige Hilfe zu geben und auch den Menschen beizustehen, die sich in einer ähnlicher Lage befinden “.
1967 wurde dann die Kongregation für den Klerus auch mit einem Büro versehen, welches allen, die zum Phänomen des Tourismus gehören, religiösen Beistand anbieten soll.

In 1965, Pope Paul VI founded the “ International Secretariat for the Direction of the Apostolatus Nomadum ”, also at the Consistorial Congregation, with the aim of “ bringing spiritual comfort to a population that does not have a fixed abode or to those living in similar conditions ”.
In 1967, the Congregation of the Clergy was provided with an Office aimed at providing religious assistance to all people who come within the area of tourism.
