Ein Enkel von Georg war Caspar von Loebell, um das Jahr 1563 Ordenshauptmann zu Georgenburg ; von diesem stammt in direkter Linie der am 15. Oktober 1841 in Berlin verstorbene und am 2. Oktober 1777 auf dem Rittergut Pobuschen in Kurland geborene Karl Georg von Loebell, Kommandant von Berlin.
Nachdem Johann von Loebell seine Abstammung nachgewiesen und 1645 das kurländische Indigenat erworben hatte, erlangte die Familie in Kurland auch das polnische Indigenat und wurde als altadelige Familie anerkannt.
