In the area Logistic, Production and Consumer (LPC) new systems are developed which will improve handling and scheduling tasks by using methods of Artificial Intelligence and innovative mechatronic concepts:
Fast, self-learning image recognition and classification to identify production faults
robotik.dfki-bremen.deDabei kooperieren die Uni-Wissenschaftler eng mit Forschern des ebenfalls von Prof. Kirchner geleiteten Robotics Innovation Center des Deutschen Forschungszentrums für Künstliche Intelligenz ( DFKI ) GmbH ( siehe Über Uns - RIC ).
Anwendungsfelder sind die Unterwasser-, Weltraum-, SAR- (Search and Rescue) und Sicherheitsrobotik, Logistik, Produktion und Consumer (LPC), Kognitive Robotik, E-Mobility sowie Rehabilitationsrobotik.
