Berlin, 27. Mai 2014 – „Der große Erfolg anti-europäischer Parteien, nicht nur an den Rändern, sondern im Herzen Europas, stellt die lang gehegte Annahme, dass der schrittweise Machtzuwachs des Europäischen Parlaments zu mehr Akzeptanz und Legitimität der EU führen würde, deutlich in Frage.
Wenn in Frankreich die Anti-Europäer die Mehrheit erringen, müssen wir innehalten und uns fragen, was falsch läuft,“ kommentiert Mark Kayser, Professor für vergleichende Politikwissenschaft an der Hertie School of Governance, das Ergebnis der Europawahl 2014 auf dem internationalen Symposium „Governance in Europe“ in Berlin.
