Rappo stellte in seinem Vortrag sowohl die Designausbildung an der ECAL vor, als auch ein Projekt, in dem die Geschichte der typografischen Lehre an Schweizer Hochschulen allgemein historisch erforscht wird.
Dieses Projekt hat zum Ziel, die Ursprünge und Einflüsse der Designlehre, sowie wichtige Gestalter und Lehrende festzustellen.

In his lecture, Rappo presented both design training at ECAL and a project in which the history of typographical teaching is explored in general at Swiss universities.
