So wie ich es sehe, hat die FIA Pirelli gebeten, die Reifenhaltbarkeit zu verkürzen, um durch mehr Boxenstopps die Rennen spannender zu machen.
Also haben wir in diesem Jahr komplett andere Reifen als die, die früher von Bridgestone gelieferten wurden und einfach zu lange hielten.

The way I see it is that the FIA asked Pirelli to make tyres with a shorter life to make races more exciting through more pit stops.
So the tyres we have this year are totally different to those supplied previously by Bridgestone, which simply lasted too long.
